Many ladies (and many individuals) are living their present lives in ways that seem to be ignorant of the fact that their present actions would have an effect on their tomorrow. Yes, they don't seem to know that their today could either mar or make their tomorow. And no wonder, when the future become today, the past deeds of many keeps hunting them.

The Exposed School Girl
Kate was so excited. She wasn't only exicited; she was nervous too. In reality, her curiorsity had drown the feelings of excitment her body had known right from the day Jim proposed to her. Right now, the very high feeling of excitment she brought to this place, sucessful changed into nervousness, and now fear.
The fear she now felt is obvious to her. She won't know her fate. She won't know her fate in the hands of her husband-to-be parents. She won't know if her fiance's family would accept her or not. She won't know if her fiance's parents would be one of those she had wrong in the past. She hoped that won't be the case.
She only knew them in her imaginations. She had pleaded with Jim serverly, to show her their pictures; but he always refuse. He always tell her he is trying to use them as a big surprise to her. And trust Jim, whenever he decide doing anything, he is always careful to carry it out. He ensured she didn't find anything like a photograph of theirs- in his house, on his facebook account, and any other place. Many times, behind his back, she had searched his wardrope with the hope of finding any strange photograph of an elderly man or woman- or both; so she could conclude they are his parents, and see if she has seen their face somewhere before- but alas, she isn't seeing anything.
The only thing she knew about Jim's parents is that, they are based in the United States, and according to him, both of them have good hearts. And well, she believed him because he Jim has a very good heart. So, the fact that he got a good heart means he was raised by parents with good hearts.
His parents returned to Nigeria yesterday, and Jim brought her to their massive house today so she could meet them. She was very excited. Yes, this is just the last phrase. Once she was accepted by his parents, that is all. For her own parents already accepted him very long ago- before they begin courting- when he gave them five hundred thousand naira. Then after today, when they approve her, she will become the wife of her heartrob, and the wife of one of the youngest billionaires in the country. Which means, marriage would transform her into a billionaire! Oh, she only hoped....
She would'nt have bothered if not for the double occurences that took place in the past two weeks. She had meet two different persons at different places, who knew about her ugly past, and they taunted her with it. She was just lucky Jim wasn't with her when she experienced them.
It wasn't as if Kate is a bad girl while in university. While in university, she was a good chaste serious young lady. Among the numerous ladies on campus, she stood out, due to her serious way of life. She doesn't have a boyfriend. She doesn't go clubbing. She only go for lectures, and move about unnoticed. She's just serious. In fact, unknown to her, those are the characters Jim's friend, a lecturer in her school, saw in her that made him recommend her as a wife material when Jim informed him about his desire to settle down with a good responsible young lady.
How She Began A Wayward Life
It was just that, before she entered university, while still in Secondary School, she indulged in lots of bad things. And it all begin when she got to S.S.S. 3.
A new pretty girl joined them in S.S.S 3. Her name is Amaka. Amaka is not only pretty, she is flamboyant too. She uses the latest types of phones, and she is a big girl. Having noticed her, Kate befriended Amaka, and they became good friends.
And while being friends, Kate begin knowing Amaka better. She discovered there are different men who do give Amaka money and gifts. At the beginning of their friendship, Amaka usually refer them as her relatives. Not until she later discovered she was going out with those men for money.
Greed encouraged Kate to join Amaka in the game. And before you know it, Kate became a master to Amaka. While Amaka was doing her own 'gently', Kate became known all over her environs as 'the girl who was taking married men's time'. While Amaka has single men as 'customers', Kate was more concerned about married men because they are richer, and very caring. And trust greedy men who wouldn't mind sleeping with young girls younger as their daughters, they are always after her.
Kate was enjoying herself. She can afford lots of things. She doesn't mind what people are saying about her. She intended carrying her way of life to the university. But something drastic happened. Amaka became pregnant, and died while trying to abort the baby. The incident made Kate retraced her steps.
She was brought back to reality when she heard footsteps coming from the stair case. It was a couple, with a big smile on their faces.
'It this our wife?' the woman asked Jim, who nodded in the affirmative. She embraced Kate. Kate was relived. She peered into their faces and discovered she didn't know any of them. But her joy turned to suspense again when she heard Jim ask the couple:
'Where is mum and dad?'
'They would soon join us' the man answered.
She felt a sharp pain in her stomach. So, they aren't his parents. She could hear other footsteps from the stair cases. His parents are coming.
Before she could crack her brain to remember if she've seen their faces somewhere before, the look on Jim's father's face already gave her a clue.
'You will never marry this girl!' He barked.
With tears already coming down from her eyes, she picked her bag and left, avoiding the stare of a confused Jim.
She only hear Jim's fathers voice behind her. It seems he's telling them about her dirty past. Her past is hunting her furiously.
